2024 RIKARD Malbec
RRP: $52.00
Our orange labelled blend allows us the opportunity to showcase the varietal diversity that the Orange wine region can produce. An ever-changing and evolving blend, each year we have the luxury of choosing our own combination of traditional Bordeaux varieties according to what the season best produces. Each variety brings its own strengths to the blend and the challenge is to marry them together harmoniously and produce the most complete wine possible.
For the first time since 2018, our orange label blend isn’t a blend! It’s a single varietal wine. Nor is it straight Cabernet Franc, as it has been in the past. It is 100% Malbec. The fruit came from the Kywarra vineyard at 860m above sea level and is the best parcel of grapes we’ve seen from this site. So much so that we felt it deserved its own bottling!
